After 20 years in blood pressure health tech, Aktiia planned to launch a new DTC subscription service. However cutting through in a crowded category meant a total re-brand.
Enter Hilo - a new brand centred on blood pressure health. We developed the Rhythm of Life brand point of view, inspired by blood pressure and focusing on what matters. The new identity tells that story, builds consumer trust and aims to take away the daunting pressure of managing BP day in, day out.
The Logo and the ‘pulse wave’ are the visual expressions, representing the natural fluctuations of blood pressure — showing the seamless connection of modern life, healthcare and science. Animation then brings these elements to life. The full rebrand was implement within the product and across all channels Web, App, Packaging, Social, Digital and OOH.
