AM180 x Apron: Let Your Roots Reign.

Apron Records is an underground collective that has remained authentic to their sound and creativity through the years. Making the perfect partner for an Nike Air Max collaboration, we worked with the founder Stevie whose beginnings as a barber shaped the course of his future.

Stevie created two shoes each influenced by his background. We told his story with animation and photography that highlighted Stevie’s very own hero – his auntie. Excerpts of Stevie’s past is relived through the film and a pop-up event, with styling and props nodding to his and his family’s roots.
